Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

I received notification of three product updates this month:

Pinoy Big Brother Vote Card 25 and 50 - PBB25 and PBB50

Digijooze 100 - DGJ100

We have a new product in the platform. It’s called Digijooze Prepaid Card. Digijooze acts as an all-access card but its primary offering currently is the downloading of local music recordings. Please check their website at www.digijooze.com or call (02) 9140625 or (02) 9140626.

e-Games (PAGCOR) 500 - EG500

This denomination, together with the PAGCOR e-Games 30 (EG30) and PAGCOR e-Games 100 (EG100), can be used by Smart and Sun subscribers to play the latest text-based game of chance - PBA Hula Hoops Interactive Fun Games. This will be launched by e-Games today. I have attached a short power point presentation for your review.

Some security reminder for all retailers and subdealers
Please do not forget to change the passwords of your accounts. Do not forget to use the webtool security lock feature through SMS command. And do not engage with anyone you assume is from LoadCentral. Seems shops with LoadCentral product service are being targeted by some unscrupulous people by wearing a LoadCentral shirt and presenting themselves as someone from LoadCentral office. Please remember you do not divulge your account number and password to other people. Only deal with affiliates of LoadCentral you directly know of. If you are in doubt of anything related to LoadCentral, just contact your dealer or subdealer directly.

Change of Yahoo ID for the online LoadCentral customer support

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

To all of my retailers and subdealers, please update your yahoo contacts. Kindly remove YahooID: uniwiz_help from your Yahoo Messenger List and replace it with YahooID: loadcentral_help.

The general manager of LoadCentral sent me a text message regarding the change:

Good morning. Please don’t use our YM help desk (uniwiz_help) anymore. Somebody hacked our password and asking compromising questoins to our dealers and retailers. Will give you a new one.

Several minutes later, there is an announcement update via webtool regarding the new Yahoo ID for online help desk:

Please send your concerns to loadcentral_help@yahoo and disregard any messages from our old helpdesk(uniwiz_help@yahoo)

Please also do not forget to secure your accounts. While not any of us maybe affected, it never hurts to be vigilant. Please email me if you have any questions regarding this matter. Thank you.

LoadCentral Webtool Locking

Thursday, December 21st, 2006

Most of you probably were surprised with the sudden downtime of LoadCentral system last night. It began sometime around 5pm yesterday. Then I received a notification from LoadCentral about a major system upgrade. It seems the system upgrade has something to do with a security feature set by LoadCentral to lock webtool via mobile phone.

The email message below which I received a couple of hours ago provides detailed information regarding the new security feature. So kindly make time to read it.

Dear Partner,

We have successfully uploaded last night the web tool locking feature of the system. All users of the LoadCentral web tool who have registered a mobile number as their account can deny any unauthorized access by simply sending a text message to LoadCentral access numbers. This is particularly useful for accounts that have no static IP addresses and are currently set on dynamic IP. At the end of the day, a dealer, sub-dealer or retailer can lock his web tool so even if the username and password were compromised, nobody will be able to access the account thru the web. Periodic changing of password is still a good practice though.

To lock the web tool, please type:

LockPassword

Send to LoadCentral access number.

Dealer/Sub-Dealer/Retailer will receive a confirmation message from the system:

LoadCentral: Weblock status was successfully changed. Your account is now locked.

To unlock the web tool, please type:

UnlockPassword

Send to LoadCentral access number.

Dealer/Sub-Dealer/Retailer will receive a confirmation message from the system:

LoadCentral: Weblock status was successfully changed. Your account is now unlocked.

Please inform your sub-dealers and retailers.

Merry Christmas!

For those who were greatly inconvenienced by the system downtime last night and lack of advance notification, I apologize on behalf of LoadCentral.

To our valued Dealers, Sub-Dealers and Retailers; Please change your account password regularly & check your PCs for keyloggers installed, this may compromise your account’s security.
