Free 100 SMS from SmartBuddy E-PINs only!
For all Smart prepaid users out there, here’s some good news tidbits for you.
I learned about this promo when I came across this post from yugatech during a quick visit. Since he already personally tested the free 100sms, I only needed confirmation if this is also applicable to SmartLoad 300 patrons. I didn’t receive a notice when I loaded my mobile number with SmartLoad 300 and I am not sure if this is supposed to be a delay with the system.
I requested from my contact with LoadCentral to inquire and verify with their SMART contact about the free 100 SMS. Is it applicable only to SmartBuddy E-PINs 300 and 500 pesos only? Is it also applicable to SmartLoad patrons of 300 and up denominations? Well, I got this reply:

There it goes folks! Load your smart sim numbers with Smart Buddy 300 E-PINs or Smart Buddy 500 E-PINs to get FREE 100 SMS. I will be posting a broadcast update from LoadCentral as soon as it arrives. I still don’t have the duration of the promo and I’m waiting for that broadcast from LoadCentral soon for a complete detail.
(That text reply also confirms that it is just right that I didn’t receive the free text notification because there is really none for my smartload transaction :D)
Note: Please be aware that ELOAD (SmartLoad) is different from EPINS (SmartBuddy cards) available from the LoadCentral system. ELOADs are directly credited to your prepaid sim number while EPINs are sent to buyer’s mobile number and it is the equivalent of those PINs that you scratch from actual prepaid cards. So you load the EPINs/PINs to actually consume or load them to your prepaid number.
