May I suggest you ask about interbank deposit/fund transfer. While I have not personally tried this, a client of mine though used to send payments to my old Equitable account using a different bank. Last year when I was in Cebu City, many computer shops use LoadCentral system. I cannot say the same for the rural areas though.
